if the season is curtailed.

And where are they in the table? Oh yes, bottom.

Why do people continue to be surprised that the clubs with the most to lose are the ones trying to stop everything?

Because their whinging isn’t going to change anything and yet they continue to do so. That’s what surprises me.
It's a fair point about the EFL, though.

They have to conclude their investigations and apply any penalties, which need to be factored in.

Don’t ask don’t get.

If Sheff Wed or Derby are punished maybe they can be relegated also, but this doesn't equate to Barnsley staying up.

Three teams have to be relegated, no more, no less. Any punishment would be in the form of a points deduction. Punish enough teams harshly enough and they would drop below Barnsley.

This isn’t difficult.
Nowhere does it say they don't deserve to be relegated. So down they go IMHO.

It doesn't Remi. Automatic relegation is not going to be passed.

Luton look snookered as well. You can see Charlton supporting a points deduction though, particularly for Blues & Sheff Weds.

They do indeed. Sheffield Wednesday and Derby are looking at very stiff penalties. The situation with Blues smacks of some bizarre grudge.
Barnsley are starting to sound as pathetic as Hearts!
The EFL could say points per game is based on actual games and any deductions don't affect the PPG model...stranger things have happened! Deduction that don't affect relegation sound right up the EFL's street.
