It's a good question... but a quick look in the history book shows he wasn't!

F Buck played 2 games in the 1901-02 season before being transferred to Liverpool a couple years later... he then returned when we were in Divsion 2 and managed 34 appearances in the 1910-11 promotion.

EDIT: There were 2 W Walkers!

Just heard that, so if that's the case Supes is definitely the first from two different divisions.

Just heard that, so if that's the case Supes is definitely the first from two different divisions.

He'd have to be... we've only won promotion from the third tier once... all our other promotions have been from the second
