... announce a potential hose pipe ban, consequently its been pissing it down for days since and the foreseeable future. Purely self centred, but I love firing up the barbie.

Muppets in supermarkets that don't understand one way system arrows, the cnuts. Unfortunately it's our elder generation that are unable to comprehend this simple well signed instruction.

Any others?

Youngsters wanting to protest, without maintaining social distancing - because they are unlikely to die from it. Fuck everyone else they come into contact with, or spread to, including their own family.

Others that believe Democracy is dead, and take the law into their own hands, chucking monuments into the water.

Cunts.

Protest all you like when it is safe to do so, and don't break any laws. How would we feel if the Wolves fans pulled down Bomber's statue?? The protesters  had absolutely no mandate to remove the Colston statue. (and I understand why they want it removed, but demolishing it is not the way).

I don't agree with what he stood for, but I hope all of the law breakers have a knock on the door in the morning. You can't create anarchy without expecting the consequences. Law and Order has to preside.
People who moan on social media as though it will make a difference Big Grin
I wonder what went through the "mind" of the person defacing the Cenotaph.

That's a really bizarre comparison to make.

Not really. Ripping down a statue by mob rule because you dont like what the man stood for.

I dont agree with Bomber Harris' fire bomb tactics in WW2 that needlessly killed tens of thousands of innocent Germans, but I'm not going down to London today to deface his statue and chuck it in the Thames.

I'm still trying to get my head around the equating of a footballer to a slave trader, I must admit.

What he was (including being a philanthropist) doesn't matter.

Nobody gave the protesters a mandate to act in the way they did.

I hope they are all identified and charged. We do not behave this way in a democracy.

Hopefully something more tasteful and less controversial will replace the statue, and will have a fence around it, so this cannot happen again.

The defacing of Churchill's statue is shameful. A Nazi controlled state would not have allowed any protests. It is the sacrifices made by that generation that gives us freedom today. Did the people that sprayed racist on his statue not understand the holocaust?
Same here Fido, I can imagine that tearing down Bombers statue by a load of dingles would cause a hell of a lot of upset to Albion supporters, I'm struggling to work out how many slavery supporters are going to get upset this morning.

Person - 1 can, 1 idiot
The throwing of bicycles at police horses, resulting in a terrified bolting horse injuring peaceful protesters did what for the cause?
