Townsend was great before Lockdown. As much as I love Gibbs for some reason he's turned brittle as shit. 

With Brunt as back up LB to Townsend at least we have cover.

Not sure what has happened this year but he’s been unlucky hasn’t he?

Played majority of games for us so can’t get why people are calling him injury prone.

He needs some kind of surgery, I would guess. Traditional treatment isnt working.

I think we should finish him for the season.
He undoubtedly still has the quality, remains one of our very best footballers and we will need that next season regardless of the division we are in. We need to get it sorted/operated on and get him rested then fit. We can all see how good he is but he needs to be able to be confident in those legs.
