Ordered the new boiler man cossies (aka home shirt) for myself and Hawklet #2. He’s gonna love his more than his earlier ones, being 6 and having caught the bug properly now.

The style is awesome. I was always a staunch defender of the barcode, as it represented for me the style of football of the time; which for the first time was actually good. And not this doughy-eyed stuff of fable I’d heard all about and never seen.

It is more stylish though and less 90s. But above all it’s different. And it’s us.

Hated the pinstripes. Love this.

Although a sartorial lAVVRO tip-top tip, bummers... they are tight-fitting. So do order a larger size if you spend a lot of time at the kiosks. Mine is right but comfy at medium. At small I’d look like a paedo.

I really like them! The shirts that is, not paedophiles.
Love the barcode, I own a repo version from 1993.

Dont forget that whilst the kit was introduced in the promotion year, the away kit was yellow/red, and yellow/green was the third kit. Bobby Gould introduced yellow/red to make us look like Melchester Rovers

Hope the new away kit is Yellow/Red in homage to the original.
Bought the original blue and white and the yellow and green top that season.

I really wasn't a fan of the yellow and red though.

Each to their own.

Last couple of years Puma have done a green and yellow version of the home design as an away.

Hopefully that will continue.

Let's have yellow and red, to keep the tradition.

We can wear yellow and green in the cup final.
Coincidence?

Valencia??
I disliked the 90s barcode, it looked messy and the wibbly wobblyness of the stripes never did it for me. I saw the new one online and I think it looks ace, it just looks classy and I will probably buy it at some point, after buying last year's too that would be some sort of record for me for buying new shirts, think I had the no smoking, the red & yellow, and a Coucher & Shaw (and when a lot littler, I had the full green & yellow Umbro of the late 70s), oh and the all Red away top... So two in 2 years for me (when i get this season's) will be stepping it up a fair bit.
Saw the new Juventus one (might be a leak), so it could be worse.

Not keen on these grunge textures, particualrly on home shirts. Thought we'd grown out of them in the early 90s.

This looks like they were lying in the road during the Tour de France.
