Who has an early bird ST?
Who is still intending to buy one?
Who had one and won’t be renewing until all fans allowed in a ground?

Looking at a dingle article from yesterday they are asking family who don’t live in the same household to notify them of other people they want to attend the same game with.  (Not to necessarily sit by each other)

So.... it looks like they are going to alternate games amongst ST holders , attend one home game in 2 or 3 games is what it looks like they will be offering.  Potentially could end up watching all the top teams or all those at the bottom I guess.

I’d imagine away fans won’t be allowed in to grounds.

So.....  would you go to the hawthorns on this basis, once every few home games and with a reduced capacity and no singing?
Don’t have an early bird ticket.
Intend to buy one (if possible), had my money owing from this season’s ticket put forward to 20/21.
Yes, I would go if capacity was reduced, though the logistics of getting everyone safely in and out if the ground would be horrendous!
My matchday includes travelling 150 miles, a pub lunch, meeting friends and family, sitting with regulars and shouting/singing. If all or most of those are off the cards I can't see me attending until there is a vaccine Football as we know it may be finished forever. In the premiership gate income is so small a percentage of income for clubs like ours, it may never be full again.
So good he said it thrice!

I didn't buy early bird. Was intending to renew before the deadline, but have committed my "refund" to a 20-21 ticket.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I don't think there are any correct answers.
I have an early bird ST. I don't like the idea of only going to alternate games, but I'd live with it.
I have paid for all four of our away season tickets, no idea if we will be allowed in on a phased basis. Will wait and see the latest interpretation of the ‘rules’ once they announce them
I'll just go with the flow.

Happy with whatever they decide, and if it means just 30% of games that's the way it is.

The club has some legal issues to think of.

If those who bought an early bird do not have the right to attend every game (I.e. those available for fans to attend), then they are legally entitled to a full refund if the club does not allow them to attend every game.  If they are allowed to attend every game, then the club does not legally have to offer a refund as singing and full attendance is not part of the contract.

The same with those who asked for the credit to be taken forward to 20/21 season. They too would be entitled to a full refund if the club does not allow them to attend every game.

So... does the club give priority to the two categories above and then all other previous STHs who have not yet purchased their ST for next year (or asked for a refund) have to alternate or do they risk people wanting refunds if they have to alternate and have already purchased or have a credit against next seasons ST?  Tough decision for the club to make and if I were them, I’d be making a few calls to fans to judge their opinions before making a decision.
I pushed the credit forward into 20/21, it will be interesting to see what they offer although I'm not keen to be rushing back yet. I've cancelled my gym membership until the end of October on the same basis - the virus is still around, it's being controlled with measures in place at the moment but football crowds getting back in should be well down the list especially for Prem clubs who have other sources of income.
