According to Bilic. Says he's the only proper holding midfielder we've got. I guess that rules out another loan.
We’ve got a huge squad. ESP with Gallagher arriving. I make it 27 with Gallagher coming
Think it's going to come down to finding the right system in our winnable games.

Field deserves a chance in my eyes. At very least he is going to work haaaaard and cause some disruption to teams attacking us.

Does that mean Bilic sees Sam as a bit of a left field?

Did Gallagher and Field play in the same Charlton side last season when they got off to a flyer?

I believe so.

Yes. Though Field alternated with Prateley. Bowyer played a diamond.
Slav seems positive about him. Field has been badly managed by idiots. Did well under Pulis at the start of the 17/18 season before being dropped for no reason. Did well under Megson for those two games before Pardew came in and played him on the wing and then subbed him off at half time. No wonder his development has stalled. He needs an arm around him and some confidence.

Yes. I mentioned yesterday those two have played together before. It’s beginning to take shape but need that first point on the board.
It was great seeing a teenage Albion scoring in the Premier League.

That can never be taken away from him. I think and hope he forges a good career with us.

Perhaps a few coaching sessions with a Robert Hopkins type would aid the dark arts side of his game.
