Right wing back today ahead of Furlong
Krov on the bench. No Gallagher in the 18

Unless we are playing 4231 with Edward's wide and Pereira in the number 10 role
In keeping with philosophy of one wing back goes forward, one hangs back I suppose. Edwards offers more threat going forward than Furlong (though its not miles apart, Furlong has delivered some great balls in). Phillips was at his best in the same role during the first half of last season.

Be interested to know whats up with Gallagher.
OShea is right sided defender & it is 4 2 3 1
Where the hell is Gallagher...

Could be 4231, of could be 343 with Edwards in.
Dunno y'know. Think O'Shea might drop in right back, Edwards and Grady can play either wing. I'd be tempted say that perhaps Billic is experimenting with 4-5-1??
Gallagher must have picked up an injury.
Gallagher must be injures, surely?

Not keen on the team. I’m one of the few that has seen major positives in the 3/5 at the back and I wanted to see us try it against one of the non big boys.

Edwards has a chance. Let’s see.

Bench looks quite weak. But we can do this...

Johnstone
O’Shea Ajai Bartley Townsend
Sawyers Livermore
Diangana Periera Edwards
Robinson

Yes and Phillips too, or on his way?
No Austin, Grosicki, Phillips...

Only HRK and an unfit Krovi who are remotely attacking on the bench.

I still think the starting 11 can get the job done.
No place in the 18 for Gallagher, Austin, Hegazi, Kipre, Phillip's or Grosicki.
No wingers on the bench. Maybe the Andros Townsend rumours are true
