My dad just described him as "a pleasant Robbie Savage". I kind of agree. Certainly similar playing styles, but Conor hasnt developed his WUM-ness yet. Conor is a better footballer too i think.

I'm thinking, more up market Andy Johnson.
I couldn't stand Savage and his wind up routine but it's worth remembering he came through at Man Utd in a healthy batch of youth.

You know I was thinking exactly the same when watching the Fulham game. He's got a bit of everything has Conor - I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to replace Kante longer term. I think next steps are likely to be a loan to someone like Southampton next season, and then he'll be ready. In the meantime, hope he continues to perform well for us, and hopefully encourages others to match his work rate and endeavour.

I think if we survive we’d be able to sign him for around £12m.

I hope Connor inspires Rekeem Harper
On the strength of his performances so far I really hope we can keep hold of him. Sadly though I can see another Harvey Barnes or Lukaku happening if we go down.
The hope is that he isnt a big enough name or a 'sexy' enough player for Chelsea to want to keep. Surely it would affect their reputation as a loadsamoney club if they were to have too many home-growners in the squad. Very cheap and nasty.

But unfortunately i think they like him.
