The ye olde Dudley thread got me think about Great Bridge as a kid in the 80's had loads of decent shops.

Two Tescos, Woolworths, Teddy Grays, Indoor and outdoor markets, Firkins.

BD price for bikes, I drink with Dan Price on a Friday night. (Or I did before lockdown) And the bloke who owned Goulds records.
Hughes and Holmes hardware shop. If they didn't stock it you couldn't get it.
I was often in Great Bridge early on Saturday mornings early 80s onwards.

I seem to recall there was an ex catalogue store!

The market was alright. It was quite pleasant.

Think that's it.

On the right as you head towards West Brom, just before the bridge with all the locks.

Bingo hall on the other side.

I spent a lot of time in Goulds in my late teens when I used to travel up for games and stayed with my auntie in Great Bridge.

I think my vinyl copy of Mudhoney's Superfuzz Bigmuff has got a Gould's price sticker on it still!

Goulds was a good store, both BD price and Goulds had shops also in Sedgley. BD price still has and must be in late 70's
