I know it’s boring to say because it’s us and not whoever but at least two handballs were totally ignored by VAR today and if it had been the other way?
One of the Newcastle players deffo pushed Furlong in the face.

I thought it was accidental from Lewis, but seeing as there wasn't a replay I'm not sure.
I think that was 6 of one....

Yes two possible pens today

The Pereira sending off has cost us possibly 6 points and we should have had two penalties against Palace.

Penalty overruled at United at 0-0.  Furlong handball not a handball ffs!

Free kick not given for foul on Furlong which led to first goal at Everton when we were dominating the game (incidentally with Gibbs and Diangana on the left).

Chelsea handball.

Tbh if you look carefully Ivanovic was stone-walled pushed for the first goal today which is why he lost his balance and miscued the ball - have a look at it - it was checked by VAR and 'ok'  - c****!

Yes it's all ifs and mebbes but we could quite easily have 13-15 points.

2 points chelsea (handball in lead up to goal)
1/3 palace ( we were in the ascendency and should have had 2 pens)
1/3 toon (foul on Ivan re. early goal)
1/3 points manure

We battle on, 26 games left.   Slav hasn't given up.  I really think we should give him this season and whether he keeps us up or not offer him a new contract.
Nothing to see in today's game.

People are grasping at straws because of what has gone on in previous games with VAR .

But two wrongs never make a right.

Wasn’t a lot in today’s game.  Although had he have given a foul on Furlomg when grappled to the ground I don’t think VAR would have over ruled.

There’s a few like that in Ather’s comments.  The Everton equaliser was possibly a foul, given and it wouldn’t have been overruled.  The same with the foul on Furlong in the Chelsea game.

Those are a list of 50:50s that we’ve been on the wrong side of every time.

The real bad decisions:
Chelsea handball equaliser
Disallowing our pen at ManU
Awarding pen at ManU
Sending Pereira off
No pen for foul on Ivanavic
No pen on Gallagher.

Half a dozen points makes a world of difference.

Feels like we’ve limped into this season with zero momentum and expectation.  Crept over the line in the end and then a damp squib of a transfer market. No crowds doesn’t help.

As for Slav, sack him or give him another 18 month contract, give him the power over the players to say I’m here next year whatever happens.

If he keeps us up then he thoroughly deserves to be, if not he probably deserves a crack at a promotion push.  I’d rather Slav stayed than the owners...
Im sure he was the same ref that sent Sawyers off at Bristol city ,if so just show you the inconsistencyof the refs.
