Scores for Newcastle.
Seems to be ahead of Gayle in the pecking order at the Toon.

1-2 FT
Would take Gayle back here in a heart beat.

He wouldn’t keep us up but Gayle, Grant and Robbo as our strikers next season would ensure we piss the Chump.
Andy carrol has the same amount as grant

I really like Gayle - but that loan striker role in the PL might not be his game

Sam’s man at Sunderland was Defoe so doesn’t necessarily need a big lump. Need to get some cunt within whichever poor bastard we stick up there either way.

That’s true mate. Defoe such a clever player though - and reinvented himself in his latter years

Spot on. He was a cracking striker Defoe. Had a touch of the SKP about him. Lovely bloke too. He did so much down here (Poole) with disadvantaged kids in my little 'uns school when he was playing for Bournemouth.

It was done all off his own back and not club organised. I spoke to a couple of parents who said he'd followed up with calls to them and bought equipment for them etc which went totally unreported.
He could well rock up here... not getting much game time at Rangers!

A striker with only half the talent of Defoe would  greatly improve us.
