19/20 year old playing up front for Lincoln, Brannan Johnson ?..looked a great prospect to me, tall,pacy,good brain,good control and finds space in the box, seems however his parent club is Forest . I'd go for him now! Forest can only say no! I'll guarantee a big outfit will come in for him soon. Be told!

Every time I watch Crewe highlights, a chap called Charlie Kirk looks the business. I think he's destined for bigger and better things too. There are still prospects out there, but they need to be given the chance to prove themselves at a higher level.
I thought Yates for Blackpool looked decent too, however that was only against our porous defence, so not a great yardstick!

Sorry elbow, Johnson certainly ticked all the boxes,and Scully had a decent game, but I don't recall Rogers although there may have been a defender of that name ?

Brennan Johnson a highly rated Forest lad.. was getting game time last year for them.

Perry Ng also always very impressive at Crewe.
There are a lot of very good players if we look hard enough.
Thanks SW, never seen him or heard of him before, but back in the day, I scouted for Bobby Hope, when he was our Chief Scout, and believe me this kid Johnson's got all he needs, but needs to be handled right. I'd love to see him with us!

Agree he looked a handful. With his pace and power, a bit like a young Collymore I thought.
Denis Smith was the manager at the time, whenever that was, and I recommended, a young mid fielder at Scarboro, Smith said we'd look at him, but I don't think they did. However Fergie must have cos he signed him for United! He got to us about a few years later.

Rogers came on for the last half hour. He did ok, was certainly involved and some nice touches.

yes mate i watched the game thought the same as you about johnson he seems to have a lot of potential.
I was very impressed with him and stood out i am glad you noticed aswell.
