My sense is he’s a greedy fucker so unlikely to walk. I may be wrong and based on the evidence of the lack of backing he’s received in this window I’m not sure I’d blame him if he did fuck off.

No manager walks. He’d been walking out on a huge payout if he did.
The gamble on the manager was fruitless given the lack of any gamble last summer. Sam’s excuses are already making the back pages. And they’re valid - we really are on a shoestring.
