I have previously posted that he has made us worse in every aspect. However, after some thought, I have to say that I am wrong and he is due some credit for the following improvements:
His non-tackling/avoiding any sort of 50/50 challenges has reduced our number of red and yellow cards and also meant that essential players such as Livermore, Gibbs and Sawyers have avoided injury.
He has reduced the number of times we give the ball away with his policy of reducing possession to the bare minimum.
He has reduced the number of off-target shots - these are clearly a waste of time.
Our average throw in distance has increased significantly.
Sam Johnstone has improved due to all the practice he’s getting.
Positive Covid test numbers are down due to adherence to social distancing rules within our penalty area.
I’m sure there are many more positives he’s brought to us.....
