Looking for a very quick way out IMO.
Apparently the feud was settled when he was reported as saying he didn't want to play for us again.
I doubt it myself.
Has he been seen since?
I think its unlikely he will be here next season.

What’s the “beef”?

Is it directly with club or current management?

Meh... if he performed, he would play as he hasn't this season he hasn't played. Not really any mystery.

? He hasn't warranted his starting place be that form or injury. Thats't the big mystery solved!

My guess would be pissed off at SB getting the sack and unhappy with what he saw as a disruption by the two Sam's that was only making us worse up to the time he was dropped/injured/stroppy.

Sounds like he never really wanted to be here, still upset West Ham sold him, add in poor form and the chaos of this season, not happy.

Not ideal for us at all.

Big Sam doesnt rate him so the Albion faithful will also conclude they dont rate him

He was injured and had a bit of confidence issues, I think he would be a top player in the Championship and long term he will be fine in the PL
