SJ - 8 - MOTM, Some quality saves yet again.

Furlong - 7,5. Massively improved as the season has gone on. Best outfielder for me.
Townsend 6,5 - great cross for the goal but lucky to get a free kick when weak as the last man.
Ajayi - 5, Dallying 1st half was piss poor.
Bartley - 7 Decent until last minute again.
O’Shea - 6 - Did nothing wrong

Yokuslu- 7 - Decent overall.
AMN 6 - Always a 6, Not going to be this attempts Kieron Richardson unfortunately. Good technically but doesn’t dominate.
Gallagher - 5.5 -  not got the quality I hoped he had initially.

Pereira - 6 - Difficult game for him, set Townsend up a dream.

Diagne - 6,5 - Scored but frustrating.

Phillips - 7 - Added bite
Robinson- 5 - Weak

I’ve seen very few games where one player gave away & lost the ball so often ... namely Gallagher, who was generally awful

B36baggie spot on with comments and marks... based on that performance it’s truly laughable to think he’d get near the Chelsea first team

He looked our best player earlier in the season when Bilic was in charge. He will have some takers from bottom half Prem clubs next season on loan.
Quite why Big Sam went with 3 at the back I’ve no idea... even if Wolves had played 352 changing to a back 3 to mimic an opposition side rarely works in your favour.

We needed to win tonight, yet barely laid a glove on a Wolves side that were missing plenty of players and had been torn apart by Burnley whilst using this system a week ago.

Johnstone - 8 - smart saves and distribution

Townsend - 7.5 - Semedo cost £35.5m more than him...
O’Shea - 6 - unfortunate to get hooked ahead of Ajayi
Ajayi - 4 - had an absolute mare, and lucky not to be punished a lot more
Bartley - 7 - steady
Furlong - 7 - seems to have adjusted to the pace of the PL

Gallagher - 5 - tonnes of energy but absolutely no control, composure or quality tonight. Will be fantastic if we can loan him again next season!
AMN - 6 - quiet first half, but came life in our best spell just after HT
Okay - 7.5 - pick of the outfield today

Pereira - 6.5 - clearly cursed him bringing him into my fantasy team for this one
Diagne - 6.5 - decent goal but not much else. Another week where he could have had more goals than he managed

Phillips - 6.5 - improved when he came on
Robinson - 5.5 - not really sure what he offered

Sam - 3 - crap. 1 fewer games til he packs up.
IMO, Sam went for Ajayi and started with the back 3 to counter Traores pace and the Dings crossing tactic. When we were overrun in the middle he changed it. Personally, I think AMN gets better as the game goes on and was starting to get a decent grip when he got hooked. Yellow card or not (AMN), Gallagher should have been subbed.
For me, Dean spoilt the 2nd half blowing up every time someone breathed on Traore. Played tight into their hands.
What I would add, the dings goal....just sums up our season in one second.

I struggle to see a decent player in Gallagher has great energy but cant see much else, sorry I wish to be enlightened on this one.

I thought the Villa equaliser summed up our season even better, sadly.....

Got a decent Champ career ahead of him unless he develops massively next season.
