I met him before a gig they played at the old Academy in Brum about 15 years ago. Seemed a genuinely nice guy. That gig was the loudest I’ve ever been to, they brought their own sound system which was more suited to outdoor festivals and crammed it into the academy. Apparently you could hear it in McDonalds at Dale End.
Just seen, can't believe it.
Saw them at Download 2006, one of the best live bands I've seen energy wise.
