Great as he is it has to be George Best for me balance was incredible on pitches Messi will never see.

I get the impression Messi would have coped as his balance and control is remiscent of Best.

Ronaldo is would leap off the screen if you were designing the perfect footballer, but I can’t see he’d have been able to do what he does in previous eras.

The difference is that Messi plays on a carpet and Best played on paddyfield ( no pun intended ), both great players but for those fortunate enough to see him George was in a class of his own

Your talking rubbish he never had the quality around him in Ireland, and also he did not learn how to cheat. Maragona the fat boy would never have done it over here only liked warm countries where the pitches don’t cut up. You could have put Best on a bouncing castle and he would not have fell over his balance was perfect he was the best {excuse the pun} player I have seen in 60 years of watching football.
