So Parliament has sought control of Brexit from the government and come up with a clear and definitive path... ooops.

They're all a bunch of complete useless cunts don't know what they do want but whatever is proposed isn't good enough if they keep voting until hell freezes over they will never agree on anything, what a complete shambles we have become, can't see even a people's vote will solve things as it will undoubtedly cause huge splits in the country whichever way it goes, if it went the way of remain brexiteers would quite rightly demand another vote which could well lead to unprecedented civil unrest and if leave won again the remainders would still be putting a spanner in the works for an eternity as they still wouldn't accept the result, imvho we're completely and royalty fugged now whatever happens, God help us all.

As I keep saying time and time again, what will a second referendum solve? It will be tight and divisive and we'll be back at square one no matter the vote. If it's no deal it's still a stupid decision, if it's remain it's just kicking the can down the road without fixing the problems that led to 2016 in the first place and if it's the Withdrawal Agreement then we have 2 years to negotiate a deal before we become beholden to the single market with none of the benefits through the backstop.

We need a written constitution, wide-ranging Parliamentary reform and to scrap 800 years of Parliamentary tradition to make sure we never end up doing something with such huge domestic and international ramifications again. But that means that the idiots that currently make up Parliament will be out of a job so they'll never vote for that.

Me thinks a big part of the problem is that the political establishment in this country never thought the people would vote leave so if or when we do these clowns of mp's have actually got to start working and  making decessions in the best interest of the country instead of hiding behind the 'we have to do what Brussels tells us"line whenever so thing unpopular needs to be done, simplistic way of putting it but you get my gist I hope.

There is no doubt that parliamentary reform is needed. Proportional representation would  have avoided this chaos.

The problem is that virtually all of the parliament know that Brexit is destroying us economically, socially and reputationally and it is only going to get worse. After going along with it, facilitating it in the full knowledge it was a crock of shit they cannot now bring themselves to take the final step. Not surprising and perfectly understandable human reaction. Most of them are doing their jobs trying to find the least damaging way through it. The point is, it is impossible. I have never supported another referendum but it now seems to me, it is the only way; perhaps we could have a more rational fact based debate.

Only 26 MPs need to switch for another referendum - its coming

Anyone who things that any new referendum will be against the backdrop of facts is deluded, both remain and leave will
