Imagine it on here when we are getting torn a new one every week?
My Villa mates think exactly the same - they are enjoying this league!
Tis true indeed, if we were to rise above - we would spend 10 & 6 to try and stay

Good mooring all,

Shane
I can't see the nucleus of a PL-surviving side in this team and the PL itself gets worse every year.

Promotion is good for a cash injection, that's it.
Cod roe isn't caviar.
I also have Villa mates who feel the exact same. This league is fun, and unless you're one of the big six, the Premier League is boring.

We could simply stay at this level and end up like Ipswich losing most weeks at this level.
This league is only fun when you still have the nucleus of a good side. If you lose those good players and simply tread water at this level it becomes as depressing as it did for us in the late 80s and 90s when we were desperate for promotion.

Almost - promotion is good for attracting a new owner.

The extra cash injection all ultimately disappears in wages, transfer fees and agents fees.

There is not much jollity on here after a draw let alone a defeat.
