I know it's unlikely, but is it still possible?

If so, what would need to happen for it to occur?

We would need to sign messi and Leeds would need to sack Bielsa and appoint Partridge.

We need to win our next 4 games. That would give us 85.

Leeds would need to get only 3 points from there remaining 4 games.

Sheff Utd would need to get only 6 points from there remaining 4 games.

We’d also need to swing a 5 GD

It ain’t gonna happen. Realistically our chances went when we lost to Sheff Utd and then Leeds

It’s so far into the realms of fantasy and so easy to work out mathematically that it’s an odd post, but that aside, as has been said the week we lost to Sheff U and Leeds finished Darren Moore and our automatic chances. We went into those games hoping for our final thrust to get top two. Losing both was hideous.

That is all true, but if we hadn’t lost to Millwall and Bristol City we’d still be in with a shout.

And Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, Hull and Millwall!
