There is still Chinese money around to buy football clubs. It is more difficult, but there are loads of Chinese investors. Other countries are more liberal with the "cash for passports" scheme, which was tightened last year, so they are more appealing to the overseas investors than the UK.

That's true, Prag, but I'm aware of one consortium that has £2bn in the UK, and have looked at football clubs.
