Not sure a late teen West Indian Brummie will benefit in any way from going to Glasgow, both on and off the pitch. I don't blame Harper for biding his time- after all these academies soon get rid if they think kids aren't up to it.
His football development does seem to point to us keeping him, but it will be about money. I hope he stays as think he has a decent role to play and the rebuild is all set up for him to shine.

No, not really! Second thoughts I will.
The lad is a long way away in Glasgow, and it could be very unsettling. I really can't see him going there anyway as his options will be better.
On the pitch the likes of Motherwell away in February will be an eyeopener!

A move to north of the border is only about money. As it’s “abroad”, it means that the compensation fee payable to us by Celtic is a fraction what it would be from an English club. Is the same as when Berahino was threatening to sign for Rangers to stop us getting sizeable compensation if he walked away on a free.
