Nobody who doesn't want to be offended go to see him. He's not my cup of tea but you have to take into account the audience it wasn't on tv it was in a theatre with folk that know his stuff.

So, telling a tasteless, unfunny joke and possibly hurting someone’s feelings is worse than inciting or condoning someone to commit extreme violence and subjecting the victims to excruciating pain and life long disfigurement?
I do not watch Carr because I know he sails too close to the wind, taste wise, for me. As Cornflake suggests, if you are easily offended don’t go to a theatre to watch him. People listening to B.B.C. radio might expect the content to have been vetted (which is was, strangely) and be a little more acceptable.
The heading was supposed to have a question mark, I am one of those people that gets offended by nothing, it just seems that the people that do get offended have one rule for one and another for others.
The thing is-so many female comedians base their routine on jokes about men, where is the line drawn?
