Shearer is a great pundit to be fair.

I used to drink in his local up in Ponteland, when I had to work up there. Nice place.
Never met him but there were a few tales to tell behind the bar following his bumper contract. It's the sort of stuff I wish I'd known in the lAVVRO days

He was on the same last year when these salaries first got revealed. Same with Lineker, whose salary verges on the obscene. Whoever is in charge of giving them these contracts (suspect Head of Sport given the more sober salaries dished out to radio and news presenters) should be given the heave ho. At the end of the day, MOTD is a programme that people watch for the football not the presenters. Very few would stop watching it if Shearer or Lineker or both were shunted off the programme. Jason Mohammad is another who is overpaid.
I'd be firing my agent if I were Shaun Keaveny.
