Out of the series. Looks like the end for him. End of an era. Time for the selectors to move on in their thinking.

I guess Joe Root will bowl Jofra to death in the next 2 or 3 years. He needs to let Woakes bowl occasionally. Mark Wood needs to stay fitter.

It was always going to happen. JA will be a huge loss. The emergence of Jofra is a real boost, as you said though, let's not work him to death.
I’d love to see Anderson and Archer bowl together in England. May never happen now.

Doubt that’s the end for him. One of the fittest 37 year olds out there. A calf strain can happen to anyone. If he wants to carry on then I’m sure he will.
As brilliant as he's been we should have looked to move on from him for a while now, both Wood and Stone would be potential replacements sadly both have Anichebeitus.

I hope you're right. I fear his age may just make those injuries harder to recover from.
In a year or twos time, we'll be without our best ever test bowlers, in Broad and Anderson. That's a tough hole to fill. Especially when we can't bat!

I've always rated Broad just a little bit more than Jimmy. When Broad is in one of his match winning spells, there really isn't anyone better. Jimmy has been more consistent, however.

What a pair of bowlers to have, and we've been so lucky to watch them down the years.
