Didn't realise he was an Albion fan.
Was one of my favourite political broadcasters
Sadly my prophecy wasn't true. Sorry.

Used to always watch Weekend World.

Brian was a former MP.

The theme tune was `Nantucket Sleighride` by Mountain.
Always started with `Hello and Good Morning` first, the news headlines with Reginald Bosanquet.

Crikey
He had quite a story. Born into what we now describe as poverty, Mother died when he was very young, and he managed to get to Oxford. There he clearly decided he wanted a bit of what the others had. The fact he supported The Albion and stood for Labour, show his roots left a mark that lasted him a lifetime. There isn't really anyone to touch him for interviewing technique.
A big leaver too, said his biggest regret would be not living to see the UK leave the EU (or words thereto). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-48245853
