Watched El Camino - the Breaking Bad movie.

Was ok, better than I thought it was going to be but largely forgettable. Didn’t help that it’s been about 5 years since I finished BB so had forgotten what most of the references were to.
It was a decent film, well acted and well directed, tied up a couple loose ends but didn’t add anything to the show IMO. Can’t say I’ll ever watch it again, whereas the show will certainly get a re-watch some time.
I enjoyed it. Better call Saul is still a better series for me, and I was a big fan of BB first time round.

Felt exactly the same mate.Spent most of the film trying to remember what had gone on before.
I really liked El Camino, it was basically just a longer episode of Breaking Bad but i was fine with that.
Thought the whole conceit of it being a direct continuation was a bit weird after all this time. A real-time jump to Jesse's new life five years later and something from those days coming back to haunt him would have been more interesting, to me.

Same.

I've just finished Fargo on Netflix and really enjoyed it although in the first series the casting of Martin Freeman really didn't do it for me. I could just see him in those Vodafone ads with the exact same gestures.
