Admittedly I have only seen highlights due to not going yesterday, but how in Gods name did he send the wrong man off, especially as Ferguson was racing around apologizing to anyone that would listen, what is going to be his defense " they all look the same to me ". With that and the pen, he raised incompetence to a whole new level.
Yep, it was a staggering level of incompetence yesterday. The penalty was utterly bewildering.
You do wonder if that pen decession was a bit of pay back for all the stick he was getting!!!, incompetence dosnt even come close and the lino in front of the East Stand was just as bad not got a clue what decesion he was giving all game 5 times the ball went out down that touchline and he didn't spot one of em, where the fugg do  they get this idiots from. But having said that we had more than enough chances to win the game which would have made the pen irrelevant tbh.
Well yesterday was a first for me. I don't remember ever before seeing the fourth official actually going on the field to join the melee. It was after his intervention that Diangana was shown the red. Luckily, by then, Big Slav had joined the fun and was on the pitch! What a circus! All not helped by their players surrounding the ref and the player lying on the floor holding his head.
FWIW. From my seat (where it happened right in front of me), I don't care how many times it is replayed, Ferguson hit the ball 1st. He hit it so hard he may have taken the guys foot and of course he ran the risk of a red card going in like that. You can hear the thump of the ball but somehow replays always make things look bad. He'll learn from this.
I've just watched the Quest highlights and can't believe any ref anywhere would have awarded a penalty for that incident late on.
These things happen, we're still top and move on.
Graham Scott levels of incompetence.
The biggest giveaway with the pen was the lack of appeal from the Charlton fans who it was right in front of.
The ref was piss weak yesterday. Literally gave every decision based on player reaction - rather than what he saw
Still pissed off about this. This prick was worse than the Villa prick.

No he wasn't. It feels like that because it was so recent. He'll go down as a mere incompetent. Scott on the other hand will always be a Vile cheating bastard.

Yeah, walking back to the town yesterday, it felt more like a defeat than a draw with 10 men.
