Seems like we can vote for that without it actually being on the ballot paper.

Still we will still a Government they will manage to hack together for a while but can see another election within 12months.

Bright points
The arrogant May got a kicking
Nick Clegg getting voted out
Nicola Sturgeon might just shut the fuck up about independence now, but I won't hold my breath.

Overall though we are now in a shit position regarding EU negotiations, would have been better if one of the parties had achieved a majority. It really wouldn't matter which, it's still blue or red chite.
I don't think you are in a bad a position re the negotiations
If it stops the Maybot opening game up with "I'm going to be bloody difficult" and "no deal is better than no deal" then you are in a better position. They have never been my starting points in any negotiation I have done
Why is Clegg losing his seat a bright point? He had very little power to begin with, is one of the most liberal politicians around, and was a very good MP for Sheffield Hallam.

  • Leave wins
  • Semi-competent PM resigns
  • Completely incompetent PM appointed
  • Calls election
  • Fucks it up right royally
  • Now in a shit position regarding EU negotiations

Mayhem did get a good kicking and Tory boy Clegg gets the boot which are both good news.

If Mayhem had a 100 seat majority it would not make the slightest bit of difference to the EU negotiations. The EU is in the driving seat and they will dictate the agenda and what is discussed/decided.

We will have to disagree on that one - more competent than may (not difficult)  but semi-competent is lowering expectation
It was never about strengthening her hand. That was a fallacy. She thought she could destroy the Labour Party forever by calling it. Well, that worked well didn't it. Labour has increased its number of seats for the first time since 1997

Can we agree on barely competent?

Sold his and the LibDems soul, principals and broke promises for short term personal gain damaging the LibDems for a long while returning us to a sort of 70's two party choice while losing the young vote along the way. Eventually reaped what he sowed, but he was sorry

Mayhem clinging on propped up by ulster unionists and not resigning, I can see one final u-turn looming for her
