Had some good away days at AG, including sitting in front of Skinner and Tony Robinson in a drab draw.

At home, the stand out match in memory is NYD '79, although I didn't actually go to the match.
Lived around 10 mins walk from Ashton Gate between 96 and 2003. Pretty tasty when Pompey turned up.
Remember the 3-1 win on a Sunday in I think 98 with Hughes getting a brace. Lot has changed to the ground and area (Southville and Bedminster) since coming back to the West Midlands
Under Di Matteo recall a cracking 4-1 win, where Simon Cox got a couple. Had a big feed of beer that day.
Just found it on YouTube, exactly 10 years ago! Where are the years going?

We have not won there since pal.  Smith in September 98
Only been once, many years ago friend of mine got a good hiding in a pub near the ground, the place has changed a lot since then - was working down there over the summer - lovely city and will be definitely be going back soon.

Always found it odd that in a city the size of Bristol neither of the football teams have ever done anything of any note.

Bristol and Preston the 2 biggest sides not to play in PL
I remember going there in what I think was early to mid 90's. Can't remember the result but what I do remember was that it tipped it down from the second we got out of the car until we got back in it, torrential at times. It was an open end then. We were still soaked when we got home. Loved every minute of it!
My memory is at the Hawthorns on NYD in 1979 under Atkinson. It was a bad winter and games were piling up. It was touch and go whether the game would go ahead. Our players wore boots with very short studs which gave them better grip on a frozen pitch and while the BC players were playing as if on a skating rink, we won 3-1
Snowball fight , Aston Gate 1990, 2-0 defeat , think Super Bob scored 1 for them?
