TBH the result flattered an ordinary looking WBA side.

However we were woeful at times

TBF they looked  threatening first half from corners. But we sorted it out and they offered nothing second half. We scored three, one set piece and 2 delightful pass & moves. We were sublime second half whereas they offered nothing of consequence.
Eedjuts have opinions too
At half time I turned to my mate and said, "it's not been a 3-1 game". We had been clinical and created a few chances, but the first 15 minutes or so, they were matching us. But we have the attacking quality to blitz teams when we are not always dominating them. The sign of a good side, I'd say. Second half was a joy at times. We played them off the park. Could have had 1 or 2 more. And we should have had around 6 minutes added - why only 2?

And to think we've lost two big goal scorers from last season - we are far and away top scorers in the League.
Perfectly summed up CWB. First half we were nothing special but clinical and we were wobbly at corners.
Second half good value for the final result.
As for the clown saying that we were ordinary, it just cements what I said earlier about fans being one eyed. I think we took the foot off the gas after the 5th. Another day that could have been 7.
The Bristol forums were full of the same stuff the other week, just smile and move on and well see where both teams are at the end of the season
7-1 wouldn’t have flattered us!
I think the fact they were prepared to go toe to toe with us was probably their undoing. As long as we stayed strong at the back, I thought we would always get chances as they were pressing so high up the pitch.

The 2 added minutes was bizarre, 6 subs and the Bartley and Gibbs injuries.

One of these days we really are going to give someone a tonking! lol

Their manager's face said it all afterwards.
