If this is true, embarrassing tbh considering that's the owner of our club with the sponsorship.

Probably could of got more if they wasn't on the shirt.
Not much different to what Stoke or Leicester's owners put in.

Yes but at least they are investing in the club in other ways or have done in the past heavily.
Seems like just below the going rate. Not embarrasing at all. Be interesting when/if the Government bans Gambling advertising.
Our chap hasn't had much opportunity to invest in the club yet - give the bloke a chance. Not saying he will, loike, but at least give it a couple of years before you compare him with Stoke or Leicester's investment.
Barely covers one player at £50,000 p/w.

They have also been involved in their clubs for years (decades in Coate's case).

Palm have been here less than 12 months.

Opportunity right here, but same old Peace tactics. It's like he hasn't even left.

“There have been two bids, but they were regarded as derisory,” said the source. “West Brom should know the going rate for a player like Ben Gibson, but what they came up with was so far below what might be deemed acceptable that there wasn’t even a conversation once they were lodged.”

Where have we heard all this before?

Have to love Albion's double-standards. Moan when Spurs do it to us (Berahino). Yet we constantly do it ourselves.
