Beast.
Impressive.
In two words: Pulis signing Wink

Matt Wilson has confirmed it was Pulis who watched the AFCON games and was impressed with the Egyptian defenders. Another signing that had no input from the former Reading scout Hammond.
Deal was done by the club, Pulis turned it into a loan not a permanent which was originally agreed

Don't let facts get in the way Bobby :-)

Yes he watched two games but he was scouted LONG before then FFS

Hammond's job is to find players in the French and German lower divisions as this is the route we've identified the most successful overseas players seem to come through. It's then up to Hammond to bring those in.

I imagine Pulis isn't a fan of many of those suggestions so we'll never know what players we "could" have signed...

He could be an asset, but with TP in charge, I doubt he'll ever be used properly. As long as TP and Thorny keep delivering decent signings, we may as well let him go.

Especially as we have Gary and Don around too...

Bullshit, scouted by team and Pulis told, therefore went to see him and other chap play.

Of course it's a pulis signing in real terms whilst his name is above the door, but reality a team of staff scout on behalf of club and manager
Well done Tony, great bit of work
Early days yet but if we can keep him fit and he continues in that form we will have another jonas or gmac on our hands looked solid dosent look like he will ever get bullied read game well and very good ball distribution that pass in 2nd half was a gem, if these anticipate late signings happen and they are of the quality of hegazi and jrod then happy days the wait will have been worthwhile, now off to pour another glass of red.
