When was the last time we went on a run as bad as this (winless) in the 2nd tier? Got to be back to the 90s at least hasn't it.

Fucking miserable
I've got no idea, but it's heading the same way as the Talbot season, when we disintegrated after Xmas... How bad was that one in comparison to this?

Was that the year we played Chelsea in the cup on New Years Day and lost 1-0 to a late pen? Roberts? and after that we crumpled?

My memory has always been shocking, I always thought it was the one when we had Everton in the replay, and they crocked Goodman and ...Irish sounding name bloke, whose name I cannot remember, then we nosedived... Certainly parallels with Diang and Pereira missing.
Some people with poor memories here for sure. In 88/89 we were top at New Year, leading the way wth Chelsea. We drew away with Chelsea on New Years Eve 1-1. Anderson scored for us and Roberts bagged a last min pen for them. I was at the Bridge.
A couple of days later we stuffed Shrewsbury 4-0 at home.
We played Everton in the cup right after and lost 1-0 at Goodison after a replay- the season then just went to hell, as Goodman, who was looking electric, had been crocked.
We finished 9th.
The Buckley season and the record winless run? Were near top in October. Lost to Millwall. Went in free fall. Signed Sneekes in Jan. Went on a good run and finished comfortably mid table

Yes that's right. Radcliffe crocked him.
Here's one for you. If the season had started directly after your victory over us at our place in November, we'd now be above you on goal difference.

Let me have my moment on this one guys. It's the first time I've been able to be positive for the last 4 years.

I could've sworn that Anderson got crocked int eh replay too? Or was he crocked in the first Everton game? OK so it's not very Irish sounding, I was thinking Colin...Colin... then Wanknock just kept coming into my mind!

My dad and I couldn't get in against Everton, got there at 1pm and the queues were crazy, tried in the away end, but no joy either. Only game I've ever turned up for and not been able to get in.

I think everyone would be above us!

Anderson got crocked in the first game. Everton targeted and took out Goodman in the 2nd game. Was at both.
