The idea that foreigners take British people's jobs always has been and remains a fantasy of the right and scared old men
Snowflakes that they are
Even the IFS say so!

Problem is, these days the reality is usually more bizarre than the parody...

Still waiting for The Daily Fail to explain Schroeder's Immigrant.

How can they "come over here to sponge off the benefits system" while at the same time "take all our jobs"?

The majority of benefit claimants (not just immigrants) are in jobs. Benefits also include child allowance, housing benefit etc not just JS. So it is quite possible to be in work and still claiming benefits.
The total figure used for 'benefits' invariably includes the cost of state pensions - at least when the intention is to inflate it to the highest possible number for headline impact. Politicians, when challenged, will then protest that there was "never any intention" to imply that pensioners are part of the burden on the state.

Fine, then leave their benefits out of the quoted numbers.
And Vince says there's no effect on wages either
It's all a fuckin lie but we knew that didn't we?

When do the poor down trodden non working class get the jobs that immigrants have cruelly taken away from them?
I want to know when/if immigrant workers can't come here and work, who the fuck is going to fill the poorly paid jobs sectors that they currently work in? Plant growing firms are gonna be struggling and care homes and alike will be in the shit.

Those families who for generations haven't worked because they've been cruelly denied a job by immigrants. Productivity will double overnight you'll see...
