A Yorkshire man and his wife walked past a swanky new restaurant
Posted by: P_K - 06-23-2017, 01:54 PM - Forum: WBAunofficial - Replies (2)

"Did you smell that food" she asked. "It smells amazing."

So being the kindhearted Yorkshireman he was, he thought "What the hell, I'll treat her."

So they walked past it again.

  Safe Standing
Posted by: Lightnin - 06-23-2017, 11:29 AM - Forum: WBAunofficial - Replies (11)

We have told the Premier League they are willing to act as a pilot scheme for safe standing. The Premier League wrote to all of its 20 clubs asking if they would be interested in taking part in a trial to reintroduce standing sections in their grounds.

Our Operations Director has written back to the Premier League and told them our position remains that we would be very keen to be involved in a pilot.

I thought this was already in place at the back of the Smethwick?

£250m spent by Prem clubs already

Pull yer finger out Albion!

Just spend the fuggin' money! etc..

But seriously that is an insane figure considering there's two months to go before the window closes. Obviously it is distorted by the fact that the big boys have already splashed large chunks on Ederson, Salah etc..

EU Citizens here for longer than 5 years allowed to remain post-Brexit
Posted by: Mandown_Pilt - 06-23-2017, 09:08 AM - Forum: Politics - Replies (41)

Surely the right decision. Glad it has been taken.

Apparently, Juncker has said that 'This is a step in the right direction but not enough'.

And people wonder why we wanted out?

The EU's proposals that the ECJ has jurisdiction over EU citizens in the UK is wholly unacceptable, as well, from both a political and legal viewpoint.

  Lions w@nkers

Seriously these lot are worse than full kit wankers, there's bloody thousands of them over here now and although there's nothing wrong with going on a tour and wearing your teams colours, is there really any need for every single bloody one of them to wear a lions t-shirt, jumper, hat and jacket all day everyday?! I even saw a middle aged bloke in a half and half lions - all blacks shirt yesterday!
