Anyone lost their two left feet?
Posted by: SausEggBagel - 07-05-2016, 12:40 PM - Forum: WBAunofficial - Replies (5)

"The left foot was found among undergrowth on a property in Weston Park, Bath, on Monday morning.

Police said they were linking the find to another left foot, which was found in a park in February, due to their "physical similarities" and close proximity of the discoveries."

Just walked past a book shop in Belfast where his autobiography is in the front window. All my life I thought his name was Patty Bonner fgs.

When are these twats going to announce the TV fixtures? It's five weeks on Saturday until the season starts ffs

Would like to get trains/digs sorted for a couple of games, which admittedly are unlikely to be televised, but there's no way I'm booking them before they're announced

  Mark Cavendish
Posted by: imsotall - 07-04-2016, 09:22 PM - Forum: WBAunofficial - Replies (31)

I don't know if many of you are into cycling but Mark Cavendish today equalled the record for Tour De France stage wins.

Over the last 4/5 years I've really got into watching cycling and it is probably my favourite type of sporting event to watch.

During that time I've really appreciated how skilled and mentally\physically strong these athletes are and Cavendish is the cream of the crop.

He is as gracious in defeat as he is when he wins and a lot of other sportspeople could do well to emulate that in their own sports. I'm sure that if they did the majority of fans would feel a lot more admiration for them.

He makes players like Ashley Cole look like the spoilt brats that a lot of fans have come loathe.
