If Spurs lose at West Ham and Chelsea win at the weekend they can then win with a win at the Hawthorns.

Will I not enjoy that on our last home game!   Angry

Apparently set to activate his release clause allowing him to leave Sunderland for free following their relegation...

Sure there'll be quite a queue, but would be disapppinted if we're not sniffing!

So, all the clean athletes who won medals and made records when competing against those who were drugged up to their eyeballs are to suffer the ignominy of loosing their records so the 'public' can have a "belief and credibility in what they are watching in the sport." (What does that mean anyway?)

It just means the innocent are tarred with the same brush as the cheats. What makes it all the more laughable is that, when found out, the cheats are allowed to compete again after a ban instead of being kicked out of the sport for life. Whereas the honest, dedicated athlete have their career achievements expunged.

Hang on, I'm warming to this. Perhaps the FA can adopt this policy. Some clubs have been found to have played illegible players or players have been found to take drugs or place bets against the FA rules. I can't wait for all of Manc U's achievements in the noughties to be wiped from the record books.

Here is a sneak peek of Albion News programme cover for Chelsea game, featuring Neil Young's 1974 classic album.

I've been a bit quiet this season but now they can join me near the waves.

Biggest investment in the club's history needed
Posted by: SausEggBagel - 05-02-2017, 12:47 PM - Forum: WBAunofficial - Replies (105)

As we all know from the weekends result and prior 4 games we are serious need of investment into the squad. Including the prospect of the biggest overhaul of the squad in a fair few seasons.

Off the top of my head we urgently need the following:

Forwards X 2
Attacking Midfielder
Central Defender
Left Back

In the modern market the forwards and midfielder is going to cost £50 million - ish, add another £15 - 20 million for the defenders, and if we add in another competent Winger which is probably another £15 million, overall the club may be facing a transfer bill of near £85 million if we obtain all the afore mentioned.

Undoubtedly, we will endeavour to be thrifty given our margins and transfer ethics. But it's resoundingly obvious, and hopefully it is to the recruitment and scouting departments, that this will be one of the most busiest, expensive and important transfer windows in the club's future.

  Why always me?

Another fucking problem with my employers. I don't know why this crap repeatedly happens to me but it does.

I wasn't paid last month, I phoned our payroll hotline who say it's because their system doesn't pick up weekend workers and has assumed I haven't worked at all. Therefore, and bear in mind I haven't been paid in any way, not even received a payslip, I have to go into store while the store manager is there, which is when I'm at University, 50 miles away. Fill in a form and wait for them to receive the form, then wait 3 days to be paid. Is it just me who feels it's wrong that I have to do anything at all in order to receive the wages I'm due?

I'm very tempted to say I won't be in work until I'm paid but I'm not sure that will actually achieve anything but me getting disciplined and sacked.

Oh and this isn't some little business, it's Lidl.
