  On this day in 66

well thereabouts.   Albion beat the WC winners.

What a team that was.  Take note Mr Pulis of the shots and goals!

The 67 final was the worst day in Albion's history -  just beating Twerton by a whisker.    How we lost that game I'll never know but their 3rd goal should never have stood.

Just finished the lot. Was enjoying it immensely until series 6. Series 7 just completely lost the plot.

Dragged out way too long. Very disappointed overall.

Big jump in agents' fees paid
Posted by: Old Stroller - 04-24-2016, 11:10 AM - Forum: WBAunofficial - Replies (11)

For as long as Baldy has been in charge we've always been one of the lowest payers of fees to agents, so the table published in The Times yesterday came as a bit of a surprise. Between Oct 1st 2015 to Feb 1st 2016 we were the 9th highest in the PL, paying £1,700,127 to agents in that period, more than Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle and Everton (who paid the lowest, £471,400).

The money includes phased payments from contract renewals and transfers conducted during the summer. Another sign JP has let control slip from his grasp a little, or indicative of a different approach?

I can't link the article because a) it's a subscription site and b) I read it in an actual paper rather than online. If anyone wants to borrow it you're welcome to call in.

Thank heavens this place is up and running again, I've been bereft for a week. Been a bit like one of those dogs you see tied up outside a shop with sad eyes not knowing if its owner is coming back.
I do hope, mind, that the break has been a bit of a cooling off period for some who seemed to be getting a little fractious, overly personal and insulting. (Yes I know I need to man up a bit but can't help being a sensitive sort).
Now, a pleading to the mods.  Will you be able to get the lexicon back PDQ? Been a lurker/member for about eighteen months now and I'm still fairly illiterate at WBAuo speak.

Unfortunately I wasn't there, but knew a couple of mates who went.

Apparently 15,000 Albion there amongst a 22,000 crowd

Is anyone doing the 2am showing? If you are, or if you're watching through nefarious means can we agree to keep this thread spoiler free until after the opm Monday showing?

*9pm showing. My phone is fucking shite and I can't edit for some reason.

Did we all survive?

Is anyone else having them?

I'm entering my name and password and getting the "you've logged in screen" but it takes me back to the guest page so I cannot reply or start threads. It's taking four or five attempts to log in.
