Jeremy Peace - Choronzonbaggie - 11-14-2017

Fuck knows how to do a poll - computers have never been a strong point but the question I pose is 'Would Jeremy Peace have sacked him by now?'. Now I was never a fan of Baldy but I reckon, given Pulis's run of form, his patience would have been severely tested after the Huddersfield loss.

Thoughts? All hypothetical of course.

He’d have gone last season IMO.

JP was ready to sack him after the collapse in his final season, but with the transition and sale it wasn’t really in his interest.

No way he’d have survived the same collapse post Feburary.

Baldy was a God but he made money at the same time as reinventing us so everyone saw horns and a tail. Made us what we are today without a money injection. Burnley owner recently described themselves as "the new Albion"

Peace would definitely have sacked him by now. He always viewed Pulis as a necessary evil.

Did he tell you that over drinks in the Boardroom?   ffs

Peace would have tried to get AFI or Clarke back.....

Nope, but RDM, Clarke and AFI were all sacked by him for less.

Keep up Athers.

Where did we finish under Clarke again?

RE: Jeremy Peace - P_K - 11-15-2017

100% yes

RE: Jeremy Peace - Beano16 - 11-15-2017

I think that if JP was not in the process of wanting to sell the club, TP might have not been allowed to
impose the level of change and control that he has done, and his position would have been at peril at
the end of last season if not before.

Despite the comings and goings, JP was never quick to pull the trigger but would never delay when it
became obvious that change was needed, such as the supporters turning against the manager. Reading
William's stating that he will make decisions "to the best of my ability" hardly inspires as a man on top
of his brief.
