RE: Wednesday match fred - Lurker#3 - 07-01-2020

I think I would go:

Johnstone
O'Shea Ajayi Hegazi Gibbs
Sawyers
Diangana Perreira Krovinovic Grosiki
HRK

RE: Wednesday match fred - TETLEY74 - 07-01-2020

Thought Hegazi was back close to beast mode again tonight.

+1 will be a deciding factor in games in the last few weeks.

We now just need more from our centre midfield and full backs. Its that transition that's letting us down.

Agree.
Sawyers and Livermore have been well off the pace since the restart.

Not sure what combo I’d pick Sunday.

Robinson, Krov, Periera and Charlie to start... Grosicki a brilliant bench option.

Is Ajai an option as a DM? Played there for Rotherham and I know he’s been trialed there for us and didn’t have his best game but could be worth another go. For Hull, I’d go....

Johnstone
O’Shea Bartley Hegazi Gibbs
Sawyers Harper
Robinson Periera Grosicki
Austin

He actually started there in the home game against SW - and it didn’t quite work. It’s an option

I was to scared to see the result until 10 minutes ago. What a relief! Great win, in the end.

RE: Wednesday match fred - Kit Kat Chunky - 07-02-2020

Gibbs has been quality, and hit the deck running.

He will be holding his hamstring next week, though.

Gibbs is quality.

I personally would rotate and play Townsend on Sunday (against his former team) taking into account volume of games in a short space of time.

Given that he never made a single appearance for Hull I’m not sure the “former club” thing will make much of a difference.

It’s huge for CT. Local boy (born in Hessle) and there for 15 years. Hence I said “his team”.
