The Warley Odeon - baggiebloke - 07-25-2019

Closed and bulldozed in the early 70s and yet still used as a reference point as a virtual landmark.

The King Arthur in Dudley is another, and the Moat House in West Brom is everlasting...

Any others?

Roman Mosaic (by Burnt Tree) survived as an imaginary landmark long after it had ceased to be Roman Mosaic.

The Stewponey.

Used to play footy on the bowling green at Oak House.

Owned by the De Rosa family I think.

Went to school with one of that clan. Twat.

Stewponey 100%

Great shout, that.

The Astle Bridge.

Graffiti gone. Thank you, over-zealous Dudley Council.

The legend remains.

It was bulldozed in 1973, when I was 4, so i don't remember it. Looked a mighty fine building though.

My folks always called the area "The Warley Bowl".
