Never seen him play so I'll have to wait and see if he's any good.

Judging by the standard of football he's coming from and his injury record I'd say he's a fairly low cost gamble to replace Olsson rather than a long term partner for Evans.

Pulis likes a tall chap in his back line. Evans and Dawson are both midgets by his reckoning. This fellow is more in the GMac/Olsson category.

Not many have. 26 years of age and he's only played about 120 senior games, 39 of which were for his country. Hope the club have called this right.

Presumably Pulis feels he can train him to dominate his man, win aerial duels, throw his go-go gadget legs in front of the ball and clear his lines.

In which case, we have replaced last season's Olsson with the 2009 vintage.
