Exactly mate. Couple of hours earlier they were saying he was in high spirits and doing well. All sounded a bit hollow at the time.

The fact that he had had symptoms for about 9 days? And then needs to go to hospital and then needs IC. Scary times for all of us.
When I was poorly 2 weeks I pretty much slept for 2 days. Sounds like he's tried to carry on working. That really doesn't help the immune system.

The chances of survival for people going into ICU for COVID-19 and are put on a ventilator is much less than 50% unfortunately.

The idiot was boasting about shaking hands with everyone at a hospital with confirmed cases and was ignoring social distancing advice the day before his case was confirmed.
Ignoring the advice of the science has to go down as a classic Darwin award.
