Times article today - Poppy’s dad - 04-19-2020

Don’t know how to do the link thing, but there is a damning report on the governments and especially Boris’s handling of this Pandemic, as early as Jan they were warned by scientists that this was coming our way, it was played down to the extent that we sent tens of thousands of PPE to China leaving our stockpiles low !! It’s a long read but riveting, and coming from a pro Tory paper too... shocking

Is that the Harry Paterson article? I read it and thought much of it was correct.....except selective. No mention of the WHO, that the first cases were actually in November19-if we can believe that, and he manages about a dozen Brexit references. Very selective scapegoating but a halfway good article!

“There’s no way you’re at war if your PM isn’t there,” the adviser said. “And what you learn about Boris was he didn’t chair any meetings. He liked his country breaks. He didn’t work weekends. It was like working for an old-fashioned chief executive in a local authority 20 years ago. There was a real sense that he didn’t do urgent crisis planning. It was exactly like people feared he would be.”

Come on TJ, you can't pretend that Brexit hasn't been the one and only focus for this government of playground bullies. When will it become acceptable to comment on the damage this has done, is doing and will do to Britain? Not yet, I guess. Still got our heads stuck up our xenophobic arses.
