The Bass House, I had many a happy evening in there. Yeah, The Bass House and Cock and Magpies up the road, them was the days.
Bass House, that was it. Didn't use that or The Cock & Maggies very often, but had a few good nights in there. I still refer to Miller and Carter as the Cock and Maggies, it’s where most of my youth was spent!
Good shout on the Bass House Guns i'd forgotten that, and didn't realise the cock and maggies had changed names now. Mid eighties meeting points before we got the bus into town. Good times

Yes the building is still there but it is not a nightclub anyore, I believe it is a banquet/function venue.

Cheers, I only ever went when it was Fusion.. £10 before 11(or was it 10?) drink as much as you can in an hour or until the bar staff get annoyed and slow you down...

Remember the Rock Garden down past where The Angel was? Late 80s early 90s. Was good, went rough practically overnight.
Saw a belting fight in Merlins one night, started upstairs. There was Bentley's and Chance's.
