We must be very close to the end of this now, where hospitalisation is at its highest the numbers have dropped including an incredible 26% in the North West. North East has seen a drop of 14%, Midlands and London 9% each and the East of England seeing 6%. Both the South East and the South West have seen a plateauing of numbers (up 1% each) but with an accumulated 11% drop in the whole country and numbers around the 12k mark we are definitely moving in the right direction.
Added to that over 65% of the population over 12 having had a booster jab (a % of them actually can't have it yet as well I believe which makes the numbers appear lower) and 85% having had 2 jabs we are in a good position going into the warmer months.
