Concert in the strangest venue

When I worked in Chester there was a shitty little club that we occasionally frequented.

One night a few of us from work turned up and the whole area around the club was absolutely packed with women and Friends of Dot. Apparently Jason Donovan had done a gig there. Odd venue to say the least.

Kraftwerk at the Manchester Velodrome - the British cycling team we’re doing laps of the track during Tour de France.

Editors did a gig under the flyover opposite the Mailbox.

Also, Elton John at the Bescott Stadium.

I saw Elton John at Worcs CC when he did a cricket ground tour.

Belle & Sebastian at the Royal Chelsea Hospital. Pensioners watching on from their windows made for a strange experience.

Fisherman's Friends at the rum store, Carnglaze Caverns. Basically a gig in a cave, the acoustics are brilliant.
